Code of conduct
Last updated: 2026-02-28 · applies to all moderated spaces we operate.
We are here to discuss Kubernetes administration, adjacent platform work, and the operational judgment those systems require. Stay on topic; move extended vendor comparisons to email with moderators if they risk drowning technical threads.
Harassment, slurs, threats, or sustained badgering after someone asks you to stop are grounds for immediate removal. We also remove repeated low-effort disruption such as spam links, off-topic recruiting, or dumping unrelated logs without context.
Assume good intent once, not infinitely. Disagree with ideas using evidence; do not speculate about colleagues’ competence or identity. If a thread gets heated, pause and invite a moderator before the bridge turns hostile.
Reporting: use the contact form with subject “Conduct” and include permalinks where possible. We acknowledge reports within two business days when staffing allows, and we do not retaliate against reporters acting in good faith.
Consequences escalate: quiet warning in-thread, short suspension from the specific channel, suspension from all community spaces, and referral to employer contacts for enterprise cohorts when contracts require. Appeals go to a different moderator than the initial decision.
