About the institute

We formed around a simple frustration: polished slides rarely survive contact with real clusters. Our answer was smaller cohorts, louder labs, and moderators who still carry pagers.

Principles we repeat in every intake

  • Evidence before bravado. If a fix cannot cite a signal, it waits.
  • Handoffs beat heroics. Notes must survive shift changes.
  • Kind directness. Review comments target artifacts, not people.
  • Explicit non-goals. We say what we will not attempt in a given week.

Milestones

  1. 2019 — First private cohort for a Seoul logistics platform team; curriculum still referenced in Network Policy Studio.
  2. 2022 — Public lab refresh with bounded fault injection after a long collaboration with external reviewers on safety boundaries.
  3. 2025 — Moderated community channels opened to alumni with written escalation paths instead of anonymous feeds.
