Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-02-02
1. Scope
This policy describes how ClusterForge Institute processes personal data when you visit storage-portal.one, register for programs, join community channels we operate, or contact us. It applies to learners, prospective customers, and business contacts unless a separate enterprise data processing agreement governs processing.
We operate primarily from the Republic of Korea and design practices to align with applicable local standards and expectations for transparency.
2. Data collected
We collect identifiers such as name, email address, company name when provided, billing references for corporate purchases, and account credentials for learning platforms. Technical logs may include IP address, user agent, timestamps, and coarse geolocation inferred for fraud prevention.
If you join live sessions, we process attendance metadata and chat transcripts where chat is enabled. Call recordings occur only when announced and consented to per session.
3. Use of data
Data is used to deliver training, authenticate access, improve curricula based on aggregated feedback, respond to inquiries, and meet legal obligations. Marketing communications are sent only with a lawful basis such as consent or soft opt-in where permitted.
We do not sell personal data as a standalone product. Profiling is limited to operational needs such as recommending the next cohort level based on completed modules.
4. Third parties
We rely on subprocessors for hosting, email delivery, analytics where enabled, and webinar tooling. Contracts require appropriate confidentiality and security commitments. A current list is available on request to enterprise purchasers and summarized in our cookie materials where overlap exists.
If subprocessors change in a materially affecting way, we will update this policy or notify affected customers as required.
5. Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Korean residents may contact us to exercise rights under applicable privacy frameworks.
We verify requests to prevent fraudulent deletion attempts. Some requests may be limited where law requires retention, such as tax or audit records.
6. Contact
Privacy questions and requests may be sent to hello@storage-portal.one with subject line "Privacy request" and enough detail to locate your account.
We respond within reasonable timelines dictated by law and operational capacity, typically within thirty days for non-urgent requests.
7. Retention
Account data is retained while your relationship is active and for a period afterward to handle disputes, demonstrate consent where needed, and satisfy tax or corporate governance requirements. Lab telemetry with personal identifiers is minimized and rotated on documented schedules.
Backup systems may retain deleted data for a technical window before overwrite cycles complete.
