Reading scheduler decisions without blaming developers

Pending pods invite hot takes. We practice describing scheduler states with neutral verbs: "waiting for volume attach" instead of "blocked by bad code" unless evidence exists. That shift keeps incident bridges calmer and helps application teams trust platform updates. We walk through real events where the root cause was capacity, not code, and others where the opposite was true—so participants learn to separate signal from frustration.
